Faber-Castell 9008 Steno Pencil – 2B

Faber-Castell 9008 Pencil

Faber-Castell has been creating high quality writing instruments since 1660. Originating from Nuremberg Germany, they continue to be one of the best recognized writing instrument makers in the world.

The Castell 9008 was released in 1905, and has gathered a number of fans over the century. The 9008 Steno is designed for writing in shorthand and taking rapid notes. Like other Faber-Castell pencils, the lead undergoes a “Sekuralverfahren” (SV for short) bonding process which strengthens the lead and allows for better sharpening.

This pencil is available in a number of different grades. To find out more details on pencil lead grade, check out our blog.
