Visconti Van Gogh Rollerball – Prisoner’s Round

Inspired by Prisoners Round, one of the most intense and symbolic works from the final period of Vincent van Goghs life, the Visconti Van Gogh Special Edition Prisoners Round translates the paintings circular movement, imposing walls, and melancholic atmosphere into a deeply expressive writing instrument.

In the painting, prisoners move endlessly around an enclosed courtyard, caught in a repetitive and silent rhythm. The confined space becomes a reflection on isolation, waiting, and the human condition. Visconti captures this introspective atmosphere through a rich resin palette inspired by the cool, shadowed tones of the artwork, complemented by gold-plated trim that provides a striking contrast and sense of luminosity.

Progressively numbered and available while supplies last, the Van Gogh Special Edition Prisoners Round celebrates van Goghs ability to transform profound human emotion into art. Every detail reflects the tension between confinement and inner freedom, creating a fountain pen with both artistic significance and lasting collectible appeal.

Normality is a paved road: its comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it.
